About PIE
PIE Performance was established by father and son team John and Chris Lansbury to offer a viable quality alternative to main-dealer servicing for both classic and modern Porsche's. The company has been trading since 2008, and continues to go from strength to strength.
The Website Design Brief
PIE Performance originally approached us because their Word press website had been hacked and their current website providers were not responding quickly enough to get this and other important issues resolved.
Chris, the owner of PIE firstly and urgently required a robust secure, reliable website that was not going to be sabotaged by hackers every few months. The website needed to be fully accessible so that Chris and his team could update their website easily and quickly with new vehicles once prepared for sale.
The new website also needed to be designed so that whatever screen users were viewing the website on it was very easy to navigate to the desired section. PIE also required a news section (blog) so that they could update their clients and Porsche fans with the companies latest developments, news and events. Other requirements included a dedicated meet the team page, a charity page as well as pages dedicated to Porsche servicing tables.
The Website Build/Design
Fortunately we were able to recover a good amount of the original written content created for the old website and because PIE had a fantastic portfolio of workshop and vehicle images the project was fairly easy to get started.
Looking at the standard of the local competitors websites it was clear that we needed to create something that would not only stand out but would also out perform. As part of the design a fading banner was added so that PIE could promote their key services front and centre, the home page included sections for the showroom (cars for sale) and Porsche Service options.
SEO
After allowing the website to bed in PIE asked us to take a look at the organic SEO to see if we could help develop the companies visibility across the web further. Following a full review, and a competitor/keyword analysis we began implementing an SEO strategy to help boost visibility.
As part of our hourly based, monthly SEO service we produce a full report listing what changes we have made, the effects that our actions have had and the plans we have made for the following month.
