About COLBEA
Colbea are Colchesters longest established new business support and incubation centre servicing local SME's for over 40 years. Colbea connected with us towards the end of 2022 looking for some assistance with their digital marketing and having been a client and Colbea Ambassador for many years it was an honour to assist.
Colbea is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting businesses with affordable, flexible office space. Colbea also delivers over 1,000 training and business advice sessions every year, so it’s fair to say that they know what we’re talking about.
The Brief
With a recent change of management and a new/fresh approach to the support and the services Colbea provide, Colbea asked us to review every part of their existing marketing strategy.
The current Colbea website was falling behind as local competitors also offering office rental and virtual office space became more active. Alongside a fresh new look in both buildings Colbea required that this was mirrored and maintained online through their website and social media avenues.
The Website Build/Design
Alongside the physical upgrade of both the Colbea business centers it was important that the new website reflect the new look as closely as possible. Re creating the website on the fantastic it'seeze website CMS meant that we could not only design the new website quickly but it would also allow the team to be able to monitor and update the site themselves once created.
Following the initial planning around how the various services were to be displayed we decided to categories the services into work space, start your business and business support so that people at different stages could easily be directed to the information they required.
Another important feature was the ability to share news and updates on new services, new courses, office availability, new tenants and of course helpful business tips via a blog and due to the flexibility of the it'seeze CMS this was easily achieved.
